MEET AMIRA GENEID
MY STORY IS …
Since I was a child, I have always wanted to be like my parents. They were entrepreneurs and I looked up to them and how they took charge of their lives. They were such great role models for what I wanted to achieve in my own life and this just pushed me to make them proud ever since I was a child.
But as I got older, I realised that the hardest thing with starting my own business is to stay on track. One key component that I myself learned the hard way, is that people need to remember that a business is a huge commitment. It is not a few months of work, it will be at least a few years.
Not to mention it is not always going to be flashy and exciting. Sometimes you can work for months without feeling like you are accomplishing much and it can be really hard to stick your head down and keep working towards your goal for sustained periods of time. There are certain days that are harder than the rest. But here is the interesting part, it is also what inspires me to get out of every morning.
I remind myself that I have made a commitment to my business and working at it till it succeeds.
At times that has me jumping out of bed in excitement to start the day and sometimes it involves me crawling out of bed tired and lazy but either way I always know there is work to get done and to do!
At the end of it all, success is what you alone can make it out to be. It means chasing your dreams and staying true to yourself. No one else can push you but yourself.
You continue to stay on track and push your limits, who knows what you can accomplish.
